The third Gong family young master, Gong Yuanzhi, is truly a great character played by Tian Jiarui who’s debuting only after the series premiere.
This bunny and cunning baby, this little rascal who’s giving a sweet-maniacal smile, makes him a more interesting character. MJTY brings me dark plots, aesthetic attire, and dark beautiful cinematography; almost everyone has a double face, which made me fall in love with the cinnamon roll who wears his heart on his sleeve, Gong Yuanzhi.
Above plot holes and some controversial issues about the director, there is a bond and relationship that is precious, heartwarming, and heartbreaking at the same time. That bond is relationship between Gong Yuanzhi and his older brother cousin, Gong Shangjue.
The way this ‘gege’ Gong Shangjue spoils his ‘didi’ silently, protect him as he protect his own self, loving him tenderly with his own way making me want to throw myself in abyss.
On the other side, cinnamon roll Yuanzhi didi really into his ge. Gong Yuanzhi admire, love, and respect Gong Shangjue above everyone. His ge is his only world and light.
I can’t hold my tears when Gong Shangjue is hurt and pass out, Gong Yuanzhi crying and crawling onto his ge’s body while screaming GSJ name heartbreakingly.
Gong Yuanzhi’s tears would even fall when Gong Shangjue snap at him (GSJ doesn’t really mean it).
He, smile devilishly and act like a tyrant in front of others, yet he turn into a coquettish puppy in a second; cutely smiling beside his gege.
Yuanzhi really his gege’s baby brother, their love bond is really beautiful and precious ah.
